In 2018, Kobayashi found himself at a crossroads in life, feeling lost about his future direction. Despite his outstanding athletic talent, he didn’t have a clear answer on how to turn this talent into real opportunities.
It was at this juncture that Hydropluse entered his life. After our summer camp training, Kobayashi got a precious opportunity—he joined the Twisters Club, a renowned club that has earned bronze honors nationwide. America has always valued athletic talent, willing to allocate substantial resources and offer scholarships for athletes. However, the main obstacle for Kobayashi was his English proficiency. He worried his English wasn’t adequate to cope with life and training in the United States.
To assist Kobayashi in overcoming this challenge, Hydropluse provided English educational resources during the summer camp and assigned a dedicated English tutor to him. This targeted teaching not only enhanced his language proficiency but also established his profile in Swim Club and USA Swim, attracting the attention of many university coaches in the United States.
Among many excellent invitations, Kobayashi was granted a full scholarship from a university he admired. He decided to seize this invaluable opportunity, chose the school, and devoted himself to studying the major he loved.
